Hi, there! My name is Wilf and I'm new to this penpalling website. I'm not new to penpalling, though. I used to do quite a lot of it by snailmail. But with the proliferating use of the Internet in the recent decade, I've been getting few handwritten letters for which emails are no substitute. I'm not saying I don't like emails, though. You don't have to wait for weeks for the next letter from your friend as with snailmail. It's just that you sort of feel closer to whoever you're writing to when you're getting handwritten letters from him/her. Talk about nostalgia!
