Hello
I'd like to get to know people from around the world, to swap news and chat about things in general through good old-fashioned snail mail; I also like sending postcards. I had to retire last year as a full-time lecturer on health grounds (fibromyalgia), but now do some tutoring. I love reading and am rarely without my Kindle or an audiobook. I particularly like reading crime/mystery novels and contemporary fiction. I also enjoy crafts and cooking. I have a very eclectic taste in music and don't just listen to one or two genres. I like drama and crime/action movies plus anything with Robert Downey Jr in it! On TV, I like crime dramas and documentaries. I like cookery series like Masterchef and Great British Bake Off, plus Strictly Come Dancing, but otherwise I'm not keen on reality TV. I also enjoy watching sports, especially rugby and football, but not cricket - I get distracted by something more interesting like watching the grass grow! Looking forward to hearing from you.
